Not relating to online publications in anyway, I just wanted to show a couple photos of Borobudur. Located on the island of Java in Indoensia, Borobudur is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. The following photos are from my visit in July 2007 to the site.

These pictures are fantastic. Absolutely breathtaking. They remind me of my tour of Chichen Itza in the Yucatan, but for some reason the architecture in Indonesia is better preserved. How far were you from the ocean? I wonder if salt in the air had anything to do with it. . . it could also have been the material used to build these massive structures.
Your webpage is based around the tour of Abbott to SE Asia. . . did he happen to visit Borobudur? If not, could you incorporate the relief (3rd image from the bottom) as a header element in the website? It’s just so crisp and vivid, it should be used!
